Confused about how many Monoclad Galvanised Sheets do you need?

Here?s how to figure out how many K-Panel 0.42BMT Monoclad Sheets you are in need of:

  1. Measure the width of your roof or wall to find the amount of sheets you need to cover the building (i.e. the building is 7m wide)
  2. Divide the length by 0.762 which is the sheet coverage (i.e. 7m ? .762 = 9.786 sheets) so round up to 10 sheets for this building.
  3. Round up the result to the nearest whole number.
  4. Measure the required sheet length up the gable or building for walls the height to find the required sheet length.
  5. For roofs allow approximately 40mm into gutters and for wall sheeting allow approximately 30mm overlap at the base past the slab
  6. Then choose your colour and quantity ?and your good to order.

Please note that this calculation assumes a specific sheet size and may vary depending on the dimensions of the sheets you are using. It’s always a good idea to consult with a roofing professional or if you?re unsure, contact our help desk to clarify.
